Maintenance
Once cured, Epoxy Plus is extremely resistant to cleaning
products.

USE LIMITATIONS

frequent washing such as residential floors, doors
and trims, cabinets, kitchens and bathrooms, walls
made of cement or concrete blocks and drywall

- Wait 15 days before first wash
- On vinyl siding, do not use a darker colour than the
original, in order to prevent material deformation
The surface must be dry and clean, without traces of dust, oil, grease, rust and soap. On painted surfaces, it is recommended
to clean with T.S.P. (trisodium phosphate) in order to eliminate any contaminant that may harm the adhesion or the curing of
the product. Glossy surfaces must be sanded and dusted.
Mildew & new surfaces
On new or treated wood having been exposed to inclement weather, it is highly recommended to neutralise all visible or not
visible mildew, in order to avoid peeling. Use a mix of 3 parts water for 1 part bleach, let this work for 20 minutes, then rinse
and allow the wood to dry for at least 24 hours before painting. Once the surface is dry, sand the horizontal surface entirely
with a n 80 sand paper in order to open the wood fibers and enhance the adhesion. Use a n 100 sand paper for vertical
surfaces. Should a pressure wash be required, it must be done prior to sanding.
Wood: Seal pine knots with Stop Plus 298 prior to applying the finishing coat
Drywall: Apply Latex Plus 170 primer & sealer
Exterior Masonry: Apply Portico 270-0 undercoat prior to top coat
New or unpainted concrete: Let age 28 days. Wash with a mix of water and TSP. Rinse well and let dry.
Ferrous metal: Apply ISO-RUST 4350 or 4370 rust-resistant primer
Melamine: Sand surface with a 100 grade paper, wash with a degreaser then rinse & let dry.
Apply an undercoat of Adhero Plus 290
Flat latex & alkyd paint: No primer required
Glossy alkyd paint: Apply an alkyd based undercoat; Block Plus 296 or a 100% acrylic based
undercoat; Adhero Plus 290
Stir thoroughly before use. If the paint is applied on a new wood or concrete floor, the first coat must be diluted by 10% with
water. Apply one or two coats as required. Let dry at least 4 hours between coats for pale colours and 6 hours for dark colours.
In order to properly hide the surface, it is recommended to use a 15mm lint free or microfiber roller, and a quality bristle brush.
For a spray application, dilute with a maximum of 10% water. Clean brushes and rollers with soapy lukewarm water. Avoid
overloading when applying the paint. Thin coats will allow for a harder surface rather than thick coats.

This product will give full satisfaction if applied according to the
manufacturer s instructions. Manufacturer s liability is limited to
the replacement of the product and does not include manpower if
found defective upon inspection.
